This past weekend, we had the opportunity to be a part of something incredible - a surprise marriage proposal!
The beautiful woman you see here is named Melody P. Her amazing man contacted us, told us his elaborate plan, and asked if we could keep her pampered from exactly 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. last Saturday. We were happy to play along and couldn't wait to meet this special lady!
Why so precise? What was the secretive plan?
He told Melody they were spending the weekend in San Diego, when in reality, she would be going on an all-day pampering scavenger hunt, ending in a romantic proposal!
The adventure started with a dozen roses were waiting in the room upon check-in (Melody says it's normally only one rose)! The next morning, he disappeared, claiming to go downstairs for breakfast. Melody awoke to a knock at the door and room service delivering breakfast.
She then received a note with her first set of instructions, telling her to report to the spa at a particular time. There, she enjoyed a long, luxurious massage before being sent outside to meet an Uber waiting specifically for her. This time, it was bringing Melody to our spa for a mani and pedi!
After relaxing in the spa chair, enjoying some wine, and indulging in a bright red nail polish, we ushered her outside at exactly 3:00 p.m. for another Uber to chauffer her to the next stop - hair and make-up!
After that, it was time for Melody to arrive at the final destination, Balboa Park, near downtown San Diego. It was there that her amazing man gave her the ultimate surprise and popped the big question!
And of course, she said yes!!!
